Terms of Service
Last updated October 22, 2026. Written in plain English so it's easy to understand.
1. Who we are
SGV Site Co. ("we", "us") is an independently owned web design business based in La Puente, California. These terms apply to every website, plan and service we provide to you ("you", the client). By paying for a plan, you agree to these terms.
2. Services
Website setup includes design and build of up to five pages, connection to your domain, Google Business Profile setup or cleanup, and launch. Additional pages and add-ons (such as online booking or online ordering) are quoted separately.
Monthly plans include hosting, SSL security, backups, monitoring, and the updates and Google posts listed for your plan on our pricing page. Up to one hour of updates per month is included on the Care plan; unused time does not roll over. Larger changes are quoted before any work begins.
3. Payment
Payments are processed securely by Stripe by card or bank account. We never see or store your full card or bank numbers.
The setup fee is due before work begins. Monthly plans start when your site launches and renew automatically each month on the same date until canceled as described below.
If a monthly payment fails, Stripe will retry it automatically and email you. If payment is still outstanding after 14 days, we may pause your website until the balance is paid.
4. Plan terms and cancellation
Care and Growth plans have a six-month minimum term starting at launch. After six months, they continue month to month, and you may cancel with 30 days' written notice (email or text is fine).
The $0 Down plan ($299/month) is a 12-month agreement because the cost of building your website is spread across those payments. If you cancel before 12 months, the remaining monthly payments for the 12-month term become due. After 12 months, it continues month to month with 30 days' notice.
We may end service with 30 days' notice for any reason, or immediately for non-payment beyond 30 days or use of the website for illegal or harmful content.
5. Refunds
If you change your mind within 3 days of paying the setup fee and before design work has started, we will refund it in full. Once design work has begun, the setup fee is non-refundable.
Monthly fees are non-refundable for the current billing month, including partial months. If we fail to deliver what your plan includes, tell us and we will make it right or credit you.
6. Ownership
You own your domain name and all content you provide: your business name, logo, text, photos and reviews. Your domain is registered in your name or transferred to you on request at no charge.
The website design, layout and code are created and owned by SGV Site Co. and licensed to you for as long as you are on an active plan. If you leave after completing your minimum term, we will help you move to another provider and give you your content. If you would like to keep the full website design and code, we offer a one-time buyout; ask us for a quote.
7. Your responsibilities
You confirm that you have the right to use any text, photos, logos and other material you give us, and that your business information (licenses, prices, hours, claims) is accurate. Please review your site before launch and let us know of any changes.
8. Uptime and results
We host your site on reliable infrastructure and fix outages within 24 hours of becoming aware of them, but we can't guarantee the site will be available 100% of the time.
We design every site to help generate calls and leads, but we can't guarantee specific search rankings, traffic, calls or sales, since those depend on factors outside our control.
9. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, SGV Site Co.'s total liability for any claim related to our services is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or lost-profit damages.
10. Changes and governing law
We may update these terms; if a change affects your plan, we will notify you at least 30 days in advance. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, and any dispute will be handled in Los Angeles County.
